Many thanks to the 24 teams who took part in yesterday’s Mansfield Open, it was great to see teams from the East Midlands, Northern Region and Mercia all playing together. The weather gave us a mixture of conditions to play in, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirit or enjoyment. Congratulations to the three teams that finished with five wins, a great result.
Congratulations to Mark Binley and John Edmondson who won the competition for the 3rd consecutive year.
Special thanks to Phil, Linda and all the helpers who kept the teams fed and watered and to David Mellors and the maintenance team who prepared the pistes for the day’s play.
